Blogging is a social phenomena, and, like any other social interaction, it has its own etiquette. Being a young and new way for people to communicate with each other, blogging is yet to develop and define the rules of good conduct. A lot of smart people are already thinking about this though.

The general principle for times like this, when nobody credible enough said what is and what is not to be considered a good behavior, is to follow the common sense. Common sense is very subjective, but that is another story.
