There are several ways, in which you can be related to Cyprus Blog Network. You can be either a friend, a member, or a sponsor. Please read below for the description of each, and instructions on how to apply.

CBN Friend

CBN Friends are people and web sites that help to promote blogging in Cyprus in general and Cyprus Blog Network in particular. You can become a CBN Friend by doing any of the following:

• Link to Cyprus Blog Network from your web site.
• Write a blog post or an article about Cyprus Blog Network.
• Help Cyprus Blog Network improve by providing tips, web design, code, bug fixes, etc.

If you have done anything of the above, please let us know and we’ll link back to you, or mention you on the main page of Cyprus Blog Network. We can discuss the details, such as when, where, and how to link back to you.

CBN Member

CBN members are blogs that have agree to share some of their revenues and ad space in return for access to Cyprus Blog Network’s resources, services and expertise. There are obligations on both sides - Cyprus Blog Network and CBN members. And there are benefits for both sides.

We are trying to be fair and mutually beneficial. The obligations listed below are only guidelines, as we discuss specific considitions with each member individually.

Obligations of CBN members

1. Link to Cyprus Blog Network. For the very minimum, we are asking all CBN members to link to Cyprus Blog Network from the main page of their blogs. But we also apreciate links from blog posts, search results, archives, and any other relevant pages.
2. Ad blocks. All CBN members are requested to have at least one ad block provided by Cyprus Blog Network. For now, we are mostly using Google AdSense blocks, which are configured to blend in with CBN member’s blog, via customized sizes, colors, placement, content.
3. Visitors tracking. All CBN members are requested to install visitor tracking scripts provided by Cyprus Blog Network. For now, we are mostly using Google Analytics, but we might change to a different application in the future, or add other alternatives to existing tracking.

Obligations of Cyprus Blog Network

1. Link to CBN member. Cyprus Blog Network maintains the list of all its members, and links to each and every one of them. This list is currently featured on the main page of Cyprus Blog Network web site and will remain there for as long as it is practical.
2. Revenue sharing. Cyprus Blog Network shares the advertising revenue with CBN members. Every ad block on CBN member blog is tracked individually, and its revenue is shared 50/50 between the CBN member and Cyprus Blog Network.
3. Domain name. Cyprus Blog Network may register and maintain one .com domain name per CBN member. Any number of domain names can be hosted and maintained by Cyprus Blog Network on behalf of CBN member.
4. Web hosting. Cyprus Blog Network can provide fast and reliable web hosting to each CBN member. SSH and FTP access, MySQL and PostgreSQL database, and custom applications and modules can all be arranged for.
5. Technical support. Cyprus Blog Network can provide technical support for any issues regarding domain names, email, web hosting, database, blogging software, web log analysis, etc. Cyprus Blog Network will be glad to undertake installation, configuration, and customization of CBN member blogs.
6. Blogging and promotion expertise. Cyprus Blog Network can provide CBN members with valuable information on how to improve their blogs and grow their audiences.

1. Your name or alias (how should we address you?)
2. Your email address (how can we get back to you?)
3. Link to your blog, or mention that you want to start a new blog.
4. How often are you planning to post to your blog? (daily, weekly, monthy, etc)

After we have received your information, we’ll get back to you to answer your concerns and discuss the details.

CBN Sponsor

CBN Sponsors are people, web sites, and organizations that provide direct financial support to Cyprus Blog Network. Such support can be organized in the form of cash or check money, payments for advertising campaigns, or coverage of operational costs.
